The Traveller's House
It is a charming mini-flat for two people located in a central area that can be easily reached from the main arrival points in Piazzale Roma and the railway station. It is a little shelter where you feel as if you had left your travel memories, hints from Asia, India, Japan, Africa, the Europe of the early 1900s and where the old globe placed in front of the bed lets you plan your next travel destination before sleeping and dreaming of it. He flat is composed of a bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom with shower.
It is located on the ground floor with private entrance in a graceful “Calle (narrow road)” in the Sestiere (district) of Santa Croce, not far from places of interest such as the Scuola Grande di San Rocco (one of the most famous and fascinating meeting places of Venice), the monumental church of the Frari, Cà Foscari, the wonderful Campo Santa Margherita, one of the most vital meeting places of the Venetians, young people, students and tourists.
The area offers you a baker’s, food stores, coffee bars, a supermarket, a confectionary shop. You will become part of the “true” Venice.- where the Venetians themselves live – with its particular features: the typical “paratia (bulkhead)” placed in front of your door needed to safeguard the possible phenomenon of the “Acqua Alta (high water)”.

No smoking inside the flat.

Arrival/Departure times must be communicated in advance.

Self CHECK-IN with keybox without limits of time
CHECK-OUT by 11.00 am
Before leaving guests must leave the kitchenette clean and wash dishes and the hob.
Besides, due to the uniqueness of Venice as a city (there are no bins and trash must be left in specific pickup points) guests must take care of garbage pickup.
More info will be provided at the arrival.
An extra fee might be charged in case of non-compliance with this procedure.
The rental price does not include the final cleaning of € 40,00. It does not include city tax too.
City tax is variable, depending on the type of accommodation and must be paid for the first 5 night of stay.
The City Tax for this apartment amounts to € 4,00 per night/person. Kids between 10 and 16 years old pay half of the amount.
As required by Italian law, all Guests are obliged to:
register by providing the details of all occupants (including minors) and uploading a photo of at least one valid identity document via a link that will be sent prior to arrival (online check-in);
digitally sign a rental agreement that will be sent by email prior to arrival;
present an identity document upon arrival for identification purposes, including through digital verification systems.
All the rules of the condo must be observed. It is forbidden to bother other residents. Loud noises are not allowed between 1:00 and 3:00 pm and between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am (see urban police regulation).

To confirm the booking will be request a deposit to 30% of the booking amount, excluding extra costs, by bank transfer or Paypal. Any transaction cost shall be paid by the customer.
The balance must be paid at least 5 days before arrival if by bank transfer or 3 days if by Paypal. The balance in cash on arrival is also allowed. We cannot accept credit card payments.
Until 7 days before your arrival the deposit will be totally refunded. Between 6th and 3th day before your arrival will be refunded the 50% of deposit. From that day on, your deposit won’t be refunded.
Any transfer cost is charged to the customer.
In case of early departure, a penalty equal to 50% of the cost of overnight stays not used will be withheld.
